Domoteka X NOW 10.05 – 30.06.2024

New Moon Association. New Crafts invites you to the next installment of the X NOW project.
Contemporary Polish craftsmanship will be hosted in the space of Domoteka, Poland’s largest Design Center.

The 10th New Moon is a series of exhibitions of new crafts in service venues. During last year’s first edition, arts and crafts were featured at eight locations – boutiques, patisseries, stores – located on Mokotowska and Koszykowa streets in Warsaw. During this unveiling, the works of women creators and artists affiliated with the New will be presented at the Domoteka.

The exhibition will be an opportunity for visitors to our Design Center to get a glimpse into the world of unique, original craftsmanship made in the studios of female artisans and craftsmen belonging to the New Moon Association. New Craft. The exhibition will showcase high-quality furniture, textiles, utilitarian and decorative objects made of wood, glass, ceramics and metal.

When creating these unique pieces of interior design, it is important for the creators to be personally involved in the entire manufacturing process – from the first sketches, through samples and prototypes, to the finished piece. As a result, the objects become a material record of their individual character, experience, knowledge and body memory, gained over many years of working with the material, and are able to reach their audience in a particularly personal way.
