Painting Chopin with Chopin

On October 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the Bizzarto showroom in Domoteka, a unique event will take place – Painting Chopin with Chopin.

From the comfort of sofas and armchairs in the Bizzarto showroom, guests will be able to listen to live Chopin arrangements performed by a pianist while simultaneously watching the Artist create a portrait of Fryderyk Chopin.

Krzysztof Kawałowski – Artist, Lawyer, Psychologist

Kawałowski combines painting, graphic arts, spatial, and urban art. His artistic practice has been developing since early youth and goes beyond standard forms and trends. He is bold in both what he creates and how he creates, surprising his audience not only with compositions, content, and colors but also with his execution. Many of his works are in private collections, and his portfolio, which includes over 150 works, grows daily.

The Artist is increasingly active not only in the art field but also in education and workshops. Since August 2025, in the Accessible Art showroom at Domoteka, he has been running coffee painting workshops, live painting sessions, and meetings with interesting people, making art more accessible and closer to people together with his business partner Klaudia Grabarczyk.

Kamil Borkowski – Pianist, Chamber Musician

Kamil Borkowski graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in piano under Prof. Jerzy Sterczyński and a Master’s degree under Prof. Piotr Paleczny. In 2021, he completed his Master’s studies in piano chamber music with distinction under Prof. Katarzyna Jankowska-Borzykowska.

He continues to develop his skills through music courses, concerts, performances, and music events. He has won numerous awards in Polish and international piano competitions, both solo and chamber.

At the event on October 25, 2025, from 5:00 PM, he will perform works by Fryderyk Chopin according to his own repertoire and artistic interpretation. The concert will take place at the Bizzarto showroom.
